I believe found footage is just better when it comes to horror movies. I want more! More! More! More!

Any suggestions?

Its really just Paranormal Activity and Blair Witch Project I heard is the best in that category.

I second As Above So Below for a found footage horror

Rec is known is the most scary and best by most horror fans.
Hell House LLC is extremely popular but i thought that was overrated.
I personally think the best by a country mile and the most scary is Gonjiam haunted asylum.

Thanks, I’ll have a look. I’ve seen most of these.

I love REC, REC 2, and the VHS movies, some were kinda bad ngl. I was liking As Above So Below but something happened in the movie that made me think nope but don’t remember. I was half expecting Voldemort to show up for the philosopher's stone 😂 Paranormal Activity is decent apart from the last one being the worst

Fuuuuckkkk there was a series about a Halloween haunted house, like, one that people go to for entertainment and it turns horribly wrong. Ik there were two in the series, maybe 3, but they were actually pretty good. Made maybe 5 to 8 years ago....I'll try to find it.

I think it was called hell house llc actually. I didn't go into it having heard any previous hype, so I didn't have any massive expectations, in fact, I don't even like horror movies anymore because most are dog s**t, so with low expectations I thought it was pretty good actually.

It's not found footage but that quiet place one with John Krazinsky was pretty good, the sequel too.

A found footage version of A Quiet Place would actually be quite good I think

That would be pretty cool. I see they made a prequel that I haven't seen. Idk if it had any of the same actors, also, I don't have any of the streaming services for any of them, and I don't want to go watch a prequel without watching the first two again, especially since ive only seen those once. I'd hope they could get John Krazinsky for the prequel, but since they went with a prequel and I had read it was supposed to be a continuation... idk if they did.

Different actors for the prequel. I haven’t seen it either but apparently it wasn’t that good. I’ll find out for myself one day though

Are you talking about a quiet place day one? That was not only one hell of a boring movie, but the characters were also unlikeable, to put it mildly. By the time the action happened in the last segment I no longer cared what happened to anyone and just wanted the credits to hurry up.

Alcohol or edibles make all movies good… or so I’ve heard. I can’t remember but is it world wide where these aliens are attacking or is it mostly the USA?

Yeah, but they are only able to really detect our presence by sound... the first two were good imo, I'm going to skip the prequel. One of the biggest things about writing a movie is to make the audience invested in the characters, without that, the movie will 100 percent fail, guaranteed.

True. I doubt anyone’s cinema experience would’ve been great. A movie that’s mostly about being quiet but everyone’s making noise with their bags of crisps (chips)
