New Cross Inn or NXI has a hostel and if you are going they only accept.card payments atvtee bar as well. It's near New Cross Gate station and has an amazing scene, gotta watch fur the tramps going past outside though.

The Elephants Head in Camden is a good pub.

Best Metal pub in Croydon is The Ship. EPIC.

Sadly I will have to point one thing out like the dork I am to anyone visiting London for a drink.

A spiked drink looks the same as any other drink. There is a major spiking epidemic facing mainly young women in London. There are men who get spiked too. It's a real problem, if you aren't sure just don't drink it.
