Internet man complaining

Internet man complaining

Why does gothic clothing for men suck? They're either five layers of fabric that's covered in metal, way too heavy and warm, or the "ripped" clothes have fabric under the hole and costs hundreds of dollars? The boots and shoes have 6in platforms to them too, I'm not trying to cosplay as Kiss. While I'm scrolling through I'll see gothic clothes for women, they're way better. Thinner fabric, cheaper, the "rips" are really holes. When I decided to abandon all reason and dwell in darkness for eternity (seriously, f**k the sun), I wanted to also be cool. Not Fonzy cool (does anyone know who that is anymore?), temperature cool. I was hoping to be comfortable while my sanity unraveled, is that too much to ask?

Anyway, how you guys doing?

I bet you would be less of an internet complaining man if you got some sun.

It feels inauthentic because it is. Fast fashion like the d00d above me said. All the more reason to DIY and try and come up with some ideas of your own to present. If you’re not skilled in that then maybe just keep it simpler.

Quandary: Does it matter? Because you'll be standing in a corner, nodding and tilting at a 90° angle, then nodding again while taking a drag of a cigarette. So does it matter what you wear?

What I wear for casual wear when not at work are. Black jeans and a band T going with a mall goth style. For my current job a black button up short sleeve shirt, black jeans and steel toe doc martens. When I used to weld it would be grey, dark green or black t shirts (some I cut the sleeves off) with black jeans and steel toe doc martens. Another casual that I want to look nice but not too business like is just a dark green shirt with black jeans and either my black and white chucks, doc martens, or when I'm really lazy some slip on sketchers or black and white checkered vans.

For the summer I go mall goth 90s nu metal era look with cargo shorts and band ts (I cut the sleeves off some of those ones too) or plain color Ts. Something I want to add to my wardrobe is finding a red shirt, putting some holes in it, then finding a long sleeves black shirt for the red one to go over and cut holes for my thumbs to stick out for the black shirt for fall jacket wear

Goth is more about the music, so if you like the music you're goth in my book cause the Romans said that civilization that had music are Cultured, so off that part of history goth is about the music, so don't feel like you're an outcast if you don't dress the way.

Goth s**t is gay. It's a really good way to let someone know you were constantly picked on in high-school. There, I said it....
