@ppoisonn There was a time when goth had no political affiliation, it was simply more about individuality. There is plenty of goth on both sides of the political aisle these days. Same goes for punk which is more anti establishment instead of just left or right. Gate keepers threatened by an ideology that isn't in lockstep with their own are the true posers. That being said I myself do not condemn the left in an entirety only those that choose violence and the stripping of rights found in the constitution along with ridiculous tax policies. Before one of you tries to say like abortion I will point out Trump did not ban abortion he only helped it become a state by state decision, that being said the right to life, liberty, and happiness should be a right of the unborn. |

The two wings same bird or two faces to the same coin references the status quo of the neocon establishment which even the "right" has been heavily left leaning since roughly the 60's in united states politics. Based on the true scale of it the farther right the more it is about law and order with minimal restrictions, less taxes, and self determination. Basically you make your own saftey net but you are a free person. Adding saftey nets increases the need to manage one's decisions to prevent socially damaging behaviors (think welfare indirectly leading to the war on drugs), both of which increases government spending which directly increases taxes. Combined it has all led to a jenga tower ready to collapse causing both distrust and dislike of the system non neocon politicians at opposite ends of the spectrum such as Zohran Mamdani and Thomas Massi. |

People thought Obama would fix the system then he just ended up being part of the system so Trump's first election people fed up after the Snowden leaks seen him as the bull to send into the china shop. After his policies some voters still see him as the bull while other see the potential to start to fix the system. |
