Have you been to where they've set up underground tent cities in the old Subway systems? I can't believe they'd just abandon a whole system like that instead of revamping it.

i have been on abandoned tracks that run to brooklyn army terminal but nothing interesting there aside from graff that's at least 20 years old

There's a really good doc about it, however I don't remember the name, I'll see if I can find it. It's also about 15 years old and maybe they've cleaned up this underground tent city by now, but I also know it's really dangerous to go down there and I think the documentation had a resident bring him down. Lemme look quick.

Correction, 25 years old, and it's called "Dark Days." Google it and I bet it comes up on youtube or a free service like tubi.tv

I vaguely remember that maybe those people are still down there though, you usually have to find a sewer or crack in the concrete that leads to it. The documentary can answer more than I can, but they have power and everything down there.

i heard about the tunnel, i knew people who work in the mta that say it's all cleared out but the system is so vast that there is potential of it still going on
