What's something everyone seems love that you can't get into or actively hate?
Scream is pretty high on the list for me. I don't hate it, it's not bad just not one of the greatest horror movies ever made (I've heard many a person call it that). It's probably the best American made giallo film but it's a fine slasher, nothing ultimately special. The kills are boring, I'm not really into "meta" as concept and the behaviors of the "red herring" characters don't make any sense. Matthew Lillard is great in it, even if he doesn't like his own performance. At the end of the day, though, I'd say Scream is meh.
