consider this post as a general thread for gym related things. i'd love to know your workout routines and have a circlejerk about how much we love lifting weights, talking about maxes, tips and tricks along with exercises that workout specific parts of your body, etc go nuts

Best tip is to always train your rotator cuff it's so damn important for preventing injuries, I've had a dog s**t shoulder injury for the past year and golfers elbow and tricep tendinopathy, not so much from resistance training but from Muay Thai for 7 years, even with pt its taken ages to go away, I got to bench again tho for the first time in months, only 75kg for 8 reps sadly, and I'm stuck with SSB squats,

my current routine is tris bis 3 days a week with 2 days with lower upper seperate, seems to working nicely now I can train much better for the past month,

also best tricep exercise Is overhead extensions by far, just have to be careful from all the torque applied on the elbow, ohp is great but I can't do them, squats are king for quads, deadlift is amazing for glutes hams and in general improving posture and helps people who don't break at the knees and hips when picking something up

I'm actually having a rotator cuff injury out of nowhere. I'm hoping it's partially due to how I sleep. It started coming about after scratching records a lot, like up to 4 or 5 hours a day, every day for a few months. I've since lowered my turntables and haven't been scratching as much. I'm gonna start up again and see if it starts hurting again.

And I work out, but I do most of what I do inside my place. There's also a little gym downstairs, so there's a lot I can do quit a bit here. I might start swimming again too.

I'm still trying to learn, but been doing it last few years. I feel way better about myself physically and mentally! I try to do some morning Tae-Bo on days I work, but otherwise try to alternate with chest/shoulder press 1 day, then 2 days later some rows/lat pulldowns so I have time to heal. On both days, I do the exercise bike for 30 min and leg extensions. I'm hoping if I do this and maybe some other stuff I can get the balanced body I've always wanted. Kind of like Grey from Fairy Tail if anyone has seen that.
