What different kind of date or date environment can you think of that someone would definitely find to be a hard sell, especially on a first date.
Like going camping after midnight in a dark forest, or meeting up to have a chat and a bath together. It's just very unlikely to get a yes out of such situations.
Or perhaps you have said yes to a peculiar date?

Yo, I got a good one that's true. My buddy was going through a lot at one point, in a weird headspace. I think his dad had just died too. He's into graffiti big time and goes to crazy (dangerous) places to see it. He knew this chick who really, really liked him, and he didn't want to date anyone out of kindness to them, because knew where his head was at. She asked him out again and he finally said yes and they were discussing what to do, it was nighttime I think, he said, in full seriousness, and if it were a totally normal thing to do, "I know this cool bridge we can go hangout under." |
