Anyone know if any horror movies that no one knows or talks about? I'm always on the hunt for obscure movies that come and go with little attention. I recently found Xtro, a movie that came out in 1982 that no one went to see. It has a really low score on rotten tomatoes too. It's sad, I really enjoy it. Good effects and body horror, unsettling creepy atmosphere especially considering it's budget. I recommend it if you can find it. It has a DVD release that's pretty cheap, not sure if it's streaming anywhere. There's also Back from Hell and Slaughter day. I have so much respect for those, very very indie but so much heart and effort.

Demons 1985 (aka Demoni) by director Lamberton bava. And Demons 2, there is also spiritual successor Michele soavi's The Church (aka La Chiesa) 1989.

Humanoids from the deep 1980 is tacky low budget stuff.
Galaxy of terror 1981 (cashing in on Alien, poorly)

The Gate 1986.

The void 2016 (is like hellraiser meets the thing).

Dead Birds is one of my favorites and one that people either love or hate the made for TV Stephen King film Rose Red and prequel the diary of Ellen Rimbauer

Rob Greene's The Bunker; which is a kind of 1940s gothic psychological horror.
The Wisdom of Crocodiles; unusual vampire tale with Jude Law in leading role.

The void is one of my favorite movies. Demons is dope AF, and Demons 2 is fun, not as exciting but still fun. Galaxy of Terror is great, have you seen Containment? Creature is another one that I found entertaining. The Gate is a great Canadian flick. Love stop motion. There's also The Pit, that's a weird one

Rose Red is good, I am pro Rose Red. I saw that right around the time I saw the haunting (which was fine) and I'd say Rose Red is better.

I'll have to check out The Bunker, haven't encountered that one yet
