does anyone have tips on how to spike harder. I can only serve backhand or underhand whtever u can say it was
But i wanna serve spike. But its always bad.😭

Right as your hands hitting the ball, kick your feet out towards the front of you, and kinda snap your lower back a little. Also, be careful, lower back s**t sucks when it goes wrong. It's a full body motion for sure. Feet out similar to how cheer leaders do those mid air jump splits, but obviously not that far apart, feet should be roughly shoulder width apart. My mom was semi-pro at an age where she was 10 years older than most other players. I've been to so many God damn games.

Also, watch videos of good serves. I uses to watch a ton of skateboard videos, and when I'd finally do a trick well I could feel it mid air, like I was was doing it like my heros, you'll feel it on your body once your getting it right, lots of studying other players. I could jump serve right off rhe bat in Jr. High, and my gym coach wanted me to join the school team, but I was only interesting in spiking on, and and crushing the f**k outta the people who annoyed me in school. It's kinda the same physical principle as snapping a towel well to get a good 'crack' out of it. You don't have to whip the towel with all your might, just time it right. So the jump then feet out forward starts that motion, the lower back snap (there's no tower way to say it, you stick your butt out) continues that momentum that your feet just made, and that energy transfers up your back, into your shoulder, elbow, and into your hand. And obviously you want to hit the ball as high up as your can get it after doing the other motions.
