Soooo I’m putting this out here cuz I just want a good reason as too why ppl do this. so ppl not just on this website but other dating apps/social media, I’ll see and read their bios (cuz they have a bio that literally says “wanna get to know me, just message me” or some form of “message me”) and I go to message them and try to find a topic we can both get behind and talk about, But then I’ll see them ghost me for 0 reason. I just wanna know why ppl write bios that invite ppl to message them if they are just gonna ghost ppl who message them 😭 I’ve been wondering this for so long

Technically ghosting only happens if you've already exchanged a few messages and then the other person goes radio silent.

Your actual question is why doesn't anyone message you back when you put the effort into a well thought out message, tailored to specifications that they actually asked for?

That's easily one of as many reasons you can think of.

It doesn't matter what they say, it's not always what they mean... and whether or not they find a curiosity in yourself, it is a well known fact that women get many more messages than men. As far as dating sites or apps go, people are always looking for a bigger fish when they have an abundance of choice.

At a glance if your 2D face doesn't fit, it doesn't matter how well crafted your message is or how great you are in person, or whether you're an eccentric millionaire. So don't put all your eggs in one basket.
