I’ve seen the questions about why I started up a new Altscene Community on the Kyodo app, and I want to explain why this is a massive upgrade for us.
1. More Than Just a Chat group:
While Discord is great for a quick "hello," it’s just one big group chat. Kyodo is like having our own custom website. We have a main page for our brand, dedicated blogs for deep discussions, and chat rooms that are actually organized.
2. We Can Be Found!
Once we hit 10 members, our community becomes discoverable in Kyodo’s search engine. This means new people can find us naturally, something that doesn't happen on Discord or Altscene.
3. Better Customization:
Kyodo gives us the freedom to create "Personas" and styled posts that Altscene’s "archaic" comments section just can't handle.

@Mercurius Mesmerize Fair point! It’s definitely not for everyone. I'm just setting it up for those of us who want a more organized 'home base' where things don't get buried in a single chat thread. If you ever feel like checking out the layout, the link is there 🤷♂️ |
