I have several friends and meet random people that frequently complain about being broke or how hard it is to ever have extra money put to the side. These same people typically scoff at putting in extra effort to resolve the situation and some have fallen victim to "get rich quick by doing this". I myself beyond working a full time job with required overtime run an online tcg business, I have a farm where I raise goats, I save up scrap metals to sell to the recycling yard, I avoid most wasteful spending, and invest heavily. What is some of the ways you all keep financially afloat in rough patches or revenue options used to avoid having rough patches.

I honestly think that there shouldn't be a world where people work full time and aren't spending outrageously but are broke. Our country should be paying living wages as bare minimum for all jobs

I respect your drive and (hopefully) success brother. Hard work is a virtue but a lot of times parasites do the preaching about it. I haven’t quite found the best way to talk about it.

I’m a very hard working person but have found myself in a position where no one will hire me. I got a part time job but I need real work yk?

Agreed @Neon

I also want to note that corporations deplete the job market by milking the s**t out of their staff ie normalization of severe under staffing.

Hustle is a British crime drama television series starring Adrian Lester, Robert Glenister and Robert Vaughn. Created by Tony Jordan, it was produced by Kudos Film and Television, and broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom. The show premiered on 24 February 2004, and ran for eight series, with its final episode aired on 17 February 2012. The show's premise is on a group of con artists who specialise in "long cons" – extended forms of deceptive frauds that require greater commitment, but offer higher rewards than simple confidence tricks. The show's most notable qualities are plots that involve behind-the-scenes action that the viewers are unaware of until near the end of an episode, along with fantasy scenes and occasional breaches of the fourth wall by the main actors.

The show achieved consistently high viewing figures throughout its eight-year run and was received favourably by critics.

I don't see wages as too low actually. I see that most that complain about being broke often don't put in the effort or lack discipline with their money. I survived on way below average income for years. I myself always turned down government assistance and with very few exceptions think it shouldn't be offered.

Why would they give you a living wage when they can either freely import somebody who will work for less, or outsource to China who pays their employees less? If you owned a business, you would too, otherwise you wouldn't be able to sell a price competitive with the ones that do take advantage of these things, and wouldn't have a business for long.

Idk, maybe because that has ravaged our country to the point of making us 3rd world in another decade or two? Idk, is that a good enough reason f**ktard?

If you guys don't believe in living wage your bootlickers and masochists. Not everyone wants to struggle because they aren't masochists. Some people want time to make art, have babies and watch veggie tales with them.

BTW I voted Trump and love Kyle Rittenhouse like barnacles love Fred Durst lmao you'd have to hear their newest album to get that one

A fish goes a long way in oso bay. You can even trade em for weed. Haven't had to, but many people do.
