He didn't bother to.reply to.my message about the person who created a spam account of me. I needed to know it it was a profile on here playing a joke or my stalker, I asked if it's the stalker would work with the police. Didn't bother to reply.
Good to know he doesn't.care abiut safety of members. My stalker is a dangerous person, other sites were happy to work with the police and nevermind answering. Bet my account is deleted soon after this

Neil is the only admin of the site. He did post in here once... But only once I've ever seen since joining the site. I have never messaged him directly. Tbh I don't know how often he gets on here.

If I remember correctly this was a college project, and that he keeps it going because he knows people enjoy it. I'm sure there's a few advert bucks in it, but probably not enough for that to be the sole reason to keep it going, and I'm willing to bet it's not his primary job. It seems more like an act of niceness to me, so yeah, it can take a minute, which is why it takes a minute to get new photos approved. He's gotta go through them all by hand, same with every email. So if the email is silly, maybe he ain't got no time fo' dat? Idk.

No I'm not dead I log in pretty much every day to approve photos and check any profiles that have been reported.

Slothpenguin if I remember rightly the fake account you reported was removed - as for working with police it says in the terms and conditions of the site "Your data may be shared with law enforcement or other government agencies where there is a legal requirement for us to do so." But that means if the police contact us directly about it.

I get a lot of emails, I reply to the ones that seem like they need a response. If it's someone requesting something e.g. a fake account is removed - sometimes I just do what is being requested (if it's a legitimate request) but may not reply directly to the message. As someone above said this isn't my full time job I just run it in my spare time so don't really have time to respond to everything unfortunately.

I also get a lot of emails that really don't warrant a response e.g. "this person hasn't been online for 6 months and I've never spoken to them but I've decided they are my future wife so can you send me their personal email address please" - it's also possible sometimes legitimate messages get lost in the mass of "spam" so it's always worth trying again if you think something really needs a reply and I haven't.

I'll be honest though, I don't think my personal approach is any less responsive overall than when I've tried to contact a large company like Facebook or Google and you don't even get to speak to a real person so pros and cons I guess!

Neil, i have a stalker, I asked a question, I question about my safety and you didn't bother to reply.
It would have taken seconds to reply yes we will work with the police is required. A few more seconds to reply that you can't identify people via email address.
I don't feel my details are safe and it could easily happen again. I've removed all my photos for this reason. I expected a few words back from you for such a serious matter.
