So I’m in a profession that demands self promotion and networking to develop clientele. A commission based profession in other words. Are any of you in a profession like this (business owners etc)? I wanna know what you felt were successful ways of getting your name out there.

Example being, I can think of ways to promote music, but even different forms of that take different promotion, shows are one thing, digital media is another. Sales of anything could be different than both of those. I think standing out and doing something different than competitors is a good idea. |

May 11, 2025 17:13 I sell Life, Disability Income, and Long Term Care Insurance. I also sell annuities. That’s what I do right now. I carried a lot of my self promotion muscle from music over and it’s served me well but there’s a need for leveling it up so I figured I’d consult the hive on this one. |
