I just cant believe in feminism when women treat eachother like that. I work with educated women who have studied for years in their field, but you get them in a room together and you wouldn't think they have degrees.

Trust me, you NEED to ignore all negativity, especially on the internet of all places. Reaction(s) are literally lifeblood for trolls. More than likely, something in their lives is amiss, which leads them down that path of wanting to mess with people.

Toxicity/trolling is only as powerful as you make it. It will only take what you allow it to take from you, much like opinions and words.

And hey, OP, I feel you with this post. And the coincidence of me reading your post is crazy to me. Work was ass for me as well. Don't fit in, never did, and they try to make that my fault. But the less you try to understand it, the less you start to care.

I’m a little curious about what the rest of your day was like, so feel to share if you’re comfortable doing so.

As ignorant as I am on the fine details of feminism, I think blind spot is that it’s a concept applied to people, but it doesn’t account for human behaviour. People can believe in a concept and still default to actions that are natural for them in the moment even if it breaks the ideal. Their behaviour sounds pretty genderless. Perhaps they aren’t really feminists to begin with. Either way, if you personally believe in feminism, its ideals exist outside of what individuals choose to do. I think let feminism be strong in you, and reject the bullies not your beliefs.
