If you like San Antonio, my thought is that Austin and Houston are quite similar under the surface.

If you’re looking for something with a subject in mind it may be dependent on when you’re there, I’m usually attending all sorts of Film/Games/TV conferences over there- even if you aren’t in the industry they can be quite interesting to go around.

I went to Louisiana earlier in the year more into the deep country on a work trip- a lot of interesting places to explore. These days I try to make a point of avoiding the tourist routes / suggestions, found some places that belong in a horror film (in a positive explorative way). New Orleans is still a good hit but everyone does it so everyone comes back with the same stories.

Iowa and Delaware are pretty rad, probably the most visited places in the states, along with Nebraska.
