Hello there! My name's Jon. There's not much that can be fit into a tiny box like this without completely boring the reader to death, as biographies are... really difficult to just sit down and read (and write, for that matter!). However I think I can give a bit of information that will get whoever is reading enticed.
Anyway, my musical interests (as stated above) are primarily rock and metal. Some of my favorite bands are Five Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Alestorm, Nightwish, Hellyeah, Rob Zombie, Haste the Day, and In This Moment. I listen to a lot more music, and I like to think I can listen to just about anything and enjoy it. Well, all except Country music. Really can't enjoy that as it was pretty much forced upon me. Relevant to the topic, I've actually gotten to meet Ivan Moody of FFDP, Corey Taylor of Stone Sour/Slipknot, Maria Brinks of In This Moment, and Alex Varkatzas of Atreyu.
My hobbies are fairly simple. My biggest hobby is gaming, which I like to spend hours on. Mostly it's just Pokemon and Fallout right now, but I play a lot of different games like Bioshock, Final Fantasy, Diablo, Borderlands, Call of Duty, Halo, Left 4 Dead, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, GTA, and so forth and so forth. I so spend a lot of time on this, so if you also did that would be wonderful. My other biggest hobby is writing. I don't claim to be very good, but I do it because it makes me feel good. I like the idea of portraying my thoughts onto paper without structure. It really does feel nice. Here's a sample of my writing;
"Lookin' up through the window, venture afar
You see the days go flyin', so bleak
wonderin' where you are.
You light that last cigarette
Breath in and wait
For the clock to hit that last second, filled with hate.
Walk outside, see panic and discourse
Aside from the norm, wild untamed
Not even a shred of remorse.
For the times that you never did anything,
Not even tried,
What could you even do, a soul for a ride.
Anyway, my final big hobby would be: Disc Golfing. If you've never heard of it, it's pretty much ultimate frisbee and golfing smashed together. Very laidback sport and very fun for everyone.
Anyway, the only other thing I'd want to mention is I am a little religious. I'm Buddhist, for those who care to know and I do practice as I meditate at least a few times a week. If you'd like to know anything else about me, feel free to drop a message! Ciao!
