Being more serious - You are asking if anyone is "serious" about dating here and indicate that they've talked to women and they "don't seem to be serious"?
What is your criteria for "being serious"? Is it they weren't interested in meeting up with anyone? Is it just that you weren't what they were looking for, so you are assuming they aren't serious? There's so many reasons so you might not be getting the response you want that have nothing to do with how serious someone is.

Then again, maybe they aren't just serious! (or usually this venue to pursue anything serious)

I'll tell you what's up, if they're not in the same vicinity - they're lazy. They can't be bothered with not just long distance, but any distance. They want the world at their door with little to no effort required. The sooner you find this out about certain people the sooner you can save your own efforts for some who actually wants to put in the work and step out of their bubble.

If you want to be successful on dating sites

1. Have photos of yourself, not of animals and other random s**t that isn't you.

2. Have photos of yourself that make you look good. Because your only real picture of yourself you're partially obscured and what we can see.... Your hair looks greasy and unkempt.

Am I an asshole? Probably. Am I giving you tough love to help you? Yes. Because men are dating apps seem to think just being here or being "nice" is enough and it's not. I don't see men tripping over themselves to date nice but otherwise not attractive women, because being nice isn't enough to spark attraction. Same logic applies.

No calling you ugly, because you're not. The one photo is unflattering and I think having a more flattering photo, and more photos in general, will help.
