23 yr old female studying environmental science focusing on urban sustainability and civil engineering with an artistic bent. Into every iteration of punk but gravitate most towards hardcore and post hardcore punk (IDLES, crass, viagra boys, Gang of Four, Gøggs, the Jesus lizard, Johnny moped, METZ, protomartyr, trapped under ice etc). Truly I’m into every genre of music (excluding modern day country drivel) love love love the current kraut shoegazey psych sound (kikagaku moyo, king gizzard, thee oh sees, ty Segall, parquet courts, shopping , wand, wooden shjips ). Super into Anatolian rock atm and world music (tinariwen, mdou Moctar etc) as well as hold a very dear space in my heart for 60’s 70’s psych jam bands and theatrical music of that period veering into prog (yes, Frank Zappa , andromeda, aphrodites child, can, captain beyond, dantalions chariot, marmalade, Donovan ). Very much into 80’s new wave anything resembling devo is dope, love current Synths indie dream wave (tennis, beach house, strfkr, film school, GUM, crumb). I don’t discriminate against genres , good music is good music , but typically I’ll always return to hardcore punk and stoner rock (kyuss, om, fuzz etc) as well as black sabbath for some comforting solid tunes ! Down to earth , humble and also a yoga and meditation teacher, big plant momma and thoroughly enjoy exploring the outdoors!
