I am an avid traveller looking for another person that shares my passion for exploration and enjoys spontaneity. If you haven't travelled yet, I wouldn't mind showing you the ropes. I've been to 30 countries now and I would really love to meet someone who loves backpacking and out of the way places. If you want to swap travel tales I am always open to it. I am a very easygoing person and do not get frazzled easily. Most people find it very easy to talk to me. I am an engaged person and ask lots of questions. You'll never get one-lined by me. I am very attentive to my partners. As far as a relationships goes I am happy with monogamy upon mutual agreement. I am curious about polyfidelity and sharing others but not interested in a fully open-relationship. I am not interested in hookups.
In regards to my sexuality, I am not usually attracted to other femmes and find androgynous individuals very attractive. I am supportive of those that are genderfluid and I do tend to like more effeminate males.
I do tend to date younger as a matter of necessity. My lifestyle is far more in line with those in their early 20s and I like it that way
Maturity of course is a must, but has little to do with age.By day I am a PhD Candidate in sociology and am in my fourth and final year. I am working solely on my dissertation now and lucky for me, much writing can be done from anywhere which allows me to travel pretty freely. I do work as a TA but have the good fortune of one on one tutoring, which again, gives me a lot of flexibility. I am very much a public sociologist and enjoy dealing with the media and policy makers. A large part of my dissertation is facilitating a photography exhibit following a photovoice project for the youth. If you're curious about it just let me know.
Outside of school, I am very happily childfree and plan on staying that way. I only get romantically involved with others that are childfree as well, or at least in that stage of life. Fur babies are awesome and I am all for looking at photos of kittens
On the artistic side I write a lot of fiction for fun, mostly wish-fulfilment though. I also love graphic design. I used to do it professionally but now it is very much a hobby. When I have more free time I usually wander back into playing WoW. I also like console gaming as well, mostly RPGs. I am all for tabletop games and and have been wanting to try LARPing. Looks fun.
In regards to my musical tastes, I adore edm. My main guilty pleasure in life right now is stepping away from reality a bit and going to raves/music festivals. I especially love the ones where you can just stay in the little world that has been built with on-site camping. This year I managed to get in WTF in Puerto Rico, Electric Castle & Untold in Romania, and will be going to Escape Psycho Circus in San Bernadino, California for Halloween this year. I would LOVE to find someone into this scene or willing to try.
I have my ticket to EDC in Mexico (Feb 25-26) as well as Electric Castle in Transylvania for 2017 (July 13-16), so if you're up for a real adventure those are on the horizon. While I always make friends at festivals having a partner to attend with would likely be a lot of fun.
