Some of the craziest were GG Allin, Skinny Puppy..too many great shows way back then. I miss good ones all the time, I'll see a band I love on a flyer and it says they're playing on a Wednesday 2 hours away, show starts at 10pm😂

An Evening With Amon Amarth was awesome when I did that like 12 years ago. Small venue shows for Fallujah and The Contortionist were also very memorable.

Chick called Kaila, knew her in college invited me to the Sunflower Lounge in Brum to see her then punk band "Youth Man" play.
Was a three piece, they kicked the s**t outta that naff little room.
We drifted, but I was honored to be there.

Bear in mind I've also seen Rob Zombie, Motorhead and Rammstein.
Call me a sap, but you can't beat small intimate gigs.

The type of gig where the band members arrived at the venue in a rental van towing a U-Haul trailer and they man their own merch table before and after their set, where you can buy them a beer and shoot the shït with them after they melt your face for 35 glorious minutes.
