Practising Guitarist - l like to make some noize - my aim is to play like Satriani and Eruption - I also play fingerstye!
Fantasy / Science Fiction (Tolkien, Dune, Asimov, GRR Martin etc) - currently reading Mists of Avalon - simply awesome!!
Horror - Lovecraft rules!!
Ancient History - I like Mythology (have read Greek, Norse, Egyptian myths), love visiting castles and ancient sites (been to Avebury area, Stone / Wood henge, Giants Causeway - want to visit Skara Brae? Fascinated by scotland and the clans (their blood runs through ima veins)
Karate - Level: Brown+2 white belts - I am taking the Black next! I do this for self-knowledge, enjoyment, self-defence and health - not to bash people up or be a macho !!
Games - love board games (Chess, Talisman etc), Cthulhu, MERP, ADnD, Risk etc etc - did live role playing once (almost killed me!) and was in a Saxon re-enactment grp once...loads of fun!
Movies - Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Action / Adventure + any good movie old or new !!
TV - dont watch much (too much rubbish) but loved Game of Thrones - want to see Vikings...
Nature - like walking about in the wild....
Language - learning Scottish Gaelic, some spanish, german and even less french.
Dietary requirements:
Vegetarian - against animal cruelty and humanity's relentless destruction of our natural world...
Dislikes:
Smokers - why kill yourself and your loved ones?
Druggies - why screw with your brain?
Narrow, small, unflexable, inconsiderate mindsets - expand your mind and horizons!
Religion / Spirituality - have thought long and hard about this. As a physicist God/Goddess don't make sense (for many reasons) but extremely difficult to disprove/prove so i decided to be Agnostic. Fully respect other religions but if i had to choose one it would be a pagan one as that at least worships and respects the natural world and is more nature-orientated and treats woman more fairly than the 'man' centered greedy main religions.
In a nutshell I am a Gaelic speaking Scientist Karateka Sci-Fi / Fantasy and nature fun-loving Metal head (not an egg head)
