I'm almost recovered from pretty major surgery on my shoulder, for those who know I had a subacromial decompression, ac joint remocal, glenohumeral refuface and general clean up debridement and a little trimming of a tendon or two. Strongman isn't kind to your body :/ but I'm back and getting out there.
First up, I'm not a grump, nor moody and don't do it just to pose, I just really really don't like my picture being taken. Sheldon cooper thought he looked bad smiling
. One of my friends tells me he gets scared when I smile, he wonders what if I'm coming for him I never know what to write on these things, so I'm just going to blab.
My name is Steve, I'm half way to turning to dust and getting my bus pass. I'm kinda geeky and lil nerdy, I'm supposed to be quite smart but sometimes I'm really stupid and need things spelling out. If I'm not getting the message, feel free to kick it into my head, a nail may help it stick
I do strongman training, probably 10-14 hours a week in the gym, mostly lifting small moons, throwing little planets around, the usual. Yup this means I give a mean hug and snuggle. If you fancy a work out I'm game
I work as a photographer, website developer and domain specialist, its more the domains and development I do but I do a little photography still. In the past I have worked as a body piercer, in night clubs doing everything from management to lackey. I have been published many dozen times in magazines and newspapers for my photography. Lately its mostly events and the odd portfolio shoot I do. I would love to shoot more darker alt stuff, just as hobby stuff.
I like to travel, I've worked in various countries, If I had to choose my favourite country I would say Canada and my fav place would be The Rock Bar aka Ground Zero in Ibiza, this place changed who I am today.
I look body modifications, and currently have have 13 piercings including the fabled Horizontal Tongue which I have had for about 14-15 years maybe longer now. This is also my fav piercing of my own coz its so unusual. I also have my ear, septum, labret, nipple and yeah down there a few times too.
I really like some of the mixed media stuff being done, like fusions of scarification and tattoos to create texture or dermal anchors with tattoos to add gem stones to designs.
I love music, I tend to like songs rather than bands and artist. I'm totally not a fan boy to any one band. This means my musical taste is somewhat eclectic, but with a monster skew to Rock, Metal, Goth and generally alternative. Saying that I have traces of dub step, soft rock, drum and base, house and even a touch of classical in there too.
I love movies also, mostly horror and comedy, but c'mere, bit closer, I like the odds chick flick like the girl next door and stardust but don't go telling no one y'dig, oh yeah I like stuff like Shrek too.
I watch movies from all over the world subtitled or not, if its good I'll watch it, stuff like Oldboy, Death Note, Sympathy, Battle Royal, Zombie 108 are among my fav from overseas, but I like so many. If you have any recommendations hit me up, I'll like you long time for new stuff.
I'm a pet person, dogs, cats, rats, snakes, all good. I have a Bulldog called Bugly because well he's Butt Ugly, and a King Charles Spaniel Cav called Barney but usually gets called Barnimal / Barnisaurous because the lil git beats the bulldog up and is the top dog.
I quite like computer games, I like Batman and the odd other such games, but my love is first shooting games, I like Crysis 1-3, part 2 is prob my fave tho, I quite like the batman series too, I play mostly on PC, where I have a s*xy alienware computer, I did say I was a little geeky before.
Right I'm all out of stuffs to say now, I've rambled and prob appear boring so I'm going to add some music stuff to the list.
