I listen mostly to Doom, Stoner, Melodic Death, Black, Celtic, Folk, Occult Metal and some Desert Rock. Right now I'm onto a band named Orchid. Electric Wizard, Church of Misery, Dissection are a few of my favourites.
I like old style horror classics, thrillers, occult or films that mess with your head. Strange is good. Foreign is interesting. Most comedies...are not.
As for TV, I never watch free to air, but I liked a few series...Rome, Life, Deadwood, Carnivale, Archer, Monkey Dust, The Wire, Blackbooks, Darkplace, Snuffbox, Californication...and I'm currently following Ugly Americans, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.
I like anime by studio Ghibli, the most recent being Tales from Earthsea. Also Black Lagoon, Claymore, Death Note, Ergo Proxy, Ghost Hound, Deadman Wonderland, Ghost in the Shell, Michiko to Hatchin, Paranoia Agent, Baccano, Samurai Champloo, Berserk and Cowboy Bebop.
