Growing up, my room was decorated with Halloween fixtures and lighting. My walls were covered in posters and pages out of alternative and hard rock/metal magazines. I had hair dyed platinum blonde and nails painted a dark denim blue. Back then I spent a lot of time immersed in the world of video games with my older brother.
I've always been attracted to the odd and weird, the shadowy aspects of the world and life. Because of this I've always felt like an outsider and had a hard time connecting with people. It's also the reason I have a vivid and sometimes over active imagination. Also why I love all forms of art, music and cinema.
Nowadays I may blend in a little better with the crowd but that's about as far as my assimilation into it goes. Expression and understanding is very important to me. Not only do they go hand in hand but without them it leads to people becoming ostracized.
I'm here because like yourself I'm looking to find someone to share an emotional and intimate connection with for preferably more than a fleeting moment. On the outside I have a thin layer of cynicism that's only there to hide the soft underbelly of a romantic.
