My music taste varies a hell of a lot, but I'm mainly into metal, rock, anything that's riffy and good I guess (Examples you ask? ..machine head, in flames, avenged sevenfold, guns n' roses, BMTH, disturbed, atreyu, bullet for my valentine, lamb of god etc..).
