Ello. I am a single father of a 9 yo boy and he lives with me full time (save every other weekend he is with his mother) and I work full time. With what free time I am most often found with my nose in a book. A ways back I bought myself a violin that I have been teaching myself as a way to keep sane, my trombone and bass guitar were recently brought back out of storage and I am familiarizing myself with them again- and for some reason I just bought myself an acoustical guitar? When I am very motivated I will sketch with pencils and ink pens. I have been working very hard to transform my balcony into a zen flower garden and I have it to where I can almost pretend that I do not mind the semi tractors rumbling on by. I try not to be couped up at home all the time so I have a road bike I will take on long rides. I enjoy hiking and swimming immensly. I enjoy going to festivals and fairs, exploring new areas and traveling. I have many old hobbies that I wish to delve into again and a million more that I would love to explore.
I am happy with myself but I would like to meet someone to challenge me mentally, have a companion with whom to share my thoughts, a partner for adventures, and someone to sit with on the couch and watch movies on those lazy days or nights.
I am either at work or bringing to my son to and from his activities so I guess I am at a loss for other ways to meet people? Time is precious and my son comes first- but for the right person time can always be found. Cheers.
