I'm a single mum to a little girl under 2. I'm just putting that out there up front so you can run away without wasting too much of your time.
If I had to describe myself I guess I would say I am alternative. I'm not quite punk or gothic anymore, but time has made me too mellow to call myself metal now. I like a wide range of music, mostly classic rock. Don't ask me to name any bands, because I'm one of those strange people that simply like what they like and don't really bother to learn all she can about it.
I do love going out and drinking and dancing, but the sad truth is, being a single mum, I only get to go out once every month or so.
I have quite a felxible sense of humour that can quite sarcastic and dark at times. I'm fairly geeky, in that you'll usually find me with my nose in a book (Of which my favorite genres are sci-fi, fantasy and I've recently fallen in love with the horror romance genre) and I get annoyed at scientifically inaccurate movies. If I find a subject that can hold my interest I'll learn all I can about it until I lose interest.
Without sounding egotistical, I am a fairly intelligent person and I take pride in the fact that all I know, I've taught myself. I can't stand text speak and general internet short-hand, especially when there's no need to rush to say what you want. So if you can't bother to actually speak to me, I will ignore you.
So, yeah, that's me. You can run away now!
