The name’s James. I’m 33, born June 15, 1992. Oregon raised me… and also gave me every reason to leave. At 15, I ran away from a toxic, abusive home and never looked back. I spent a long stretch of my life homeless, bouncing between streets and hotels, surviving on my own and figuring life out the hard way.


By 20, I was gone—moving state to state, living in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, California, and Arizona before finally landing in New Mexico. I lived out of a hotel here for years until I clawed my way into my own place. I haven’t seen or spoken to my family in 19 years. These days, it’s just me and my cat Wednesday—the only family that ever stuck around.


Art is my escape and my identity. I draw, paint, skate, and game. I grew up on the Nintendo 64—Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Majora’s Mask, Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, GoldenEye, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie. GameCube era was Luigi’s Mansion, Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and True Crime. PS2 meant Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Manhunt. Now I’m on PS5, Xbox Series S, and PC.

I’ve always been obsessed with body modification and self-expression. I have done all my own piercings. Stretched ears and septum, bridge, eyebrow, three lip piercings, and a lot of tattoos—most of them done by my own hands. I have been tattooing for 21 years since I was only 13 years old.


I’m blunt, honest, and real. I’ve lived with agoraphobia my entire life, which once kept me locked away from people and the world. No social media. No social life. Eventually, I forced myself out of that cage and learned how to exist outside my comfort zone. I’ve been emo and alternative since I was a kid—it was never a phase, its my way of life.
