Hello, well here goes...I'm not the kind of person who worries about tomorrow, next week or next year, I feel much better when i'm focussed on my day and the here and now. My friends described me as being; funny, trusting, supportive, kind, thoughtful, enlightened at times, a person who sits on the fringe of conventionality, cool in an original and unique way, passionate, creative, Eco minded, loyal, generous and loving, with a great sense of humour and passion for life. I consider myself to be optimistic, honest and open, but well aware that life can sometimes be painful. I'm willing to look at the threads of my life whilst not taking myself or life to seriously. I can sometimes be romantically idealistic...in a comic type of way. I like to laugh and sometimes I think I make others laugh with my take on life and comic repertoire, although on occasions this can be based on the darker side of life. Friends are important to me, my family and animals. I like walking the local moors, being in nature, whether rain or shine, gigs, film, festivals and the theatre. My aim is to practice a simple and ethical life, and I quite like the idea of a small, very small, small holding. I aim to appreciate what I have in my life, not what I haven't. I also have two cats! I can be quite forgetful of names, especially in work, to give you an example, In a meeting I kept on calling someone Karen, when they were called Carol. I enjoy relaxing with friends, watching beautiful films, arty stuff, reading, listening to music and I like good food, cake! I have a fairly new interest in the ambient music genre, walking dogs, loafing, I quite like tattoos and have a few of my own. I used to have a VW camper van but I sold her and bought myself a 1968 caravan called Dot, she’s quite a looker! I have a growing interest in gardening and recently started to grow my own, I enjoy cultural pursuits and i'd possibly like to travel more...this isn't an exhaustive list but probably enough for now...phew!
