I have a vast variety of interests, and collections, and live a bit eccentrically. Very much a DIY, self-reliant person which works well with all the things I like to acquire and do. Into all sorts of music, art and architecture, but favor darker, somewhat spooky and alternative/counter culture aesthetics and genres. The short (and quite abbreviated) list: MCM & vintage everything, tiki, oddities & curiosities (very broad), sci-fi, classic horror, road trips, alternative music. I could delve deeper on that list, but how long a profile are you going to suffer reading through? Lol. I love going to live shows, concerts and festivals. Also completely enjoy hitting antique stores and flea markets as an eternal scavenger hunt for incredibly awesome things.
I've been into goth/industrial/punk and skate-punk music since I was roughly 14. I'm not as high-maintenance with my appearance as I used to be, but I feel I do still stand out in a crowd. Most of what makes me "strange and unusual" is in all my interests and personality... which really is the point, isn't it? Otherwise, everyone's just wearing a costume.
Though I'm relatively open-minded about this, honestly I feel like my "best fit" is going to be someone roughly 40 - 53. I am very active, curiously-minded, somewhat adventurous in life pursuits, and diligent about my health. So I would expect a romantic interest to be very-much the same. No smokers, please.
Also to note, if you see a similar thread of interest, I am *always* down for expanding my friend network. I love being well-connected, and have friends that I've known for decades.
