Tabletop gamer, and love getting around the table with friends. Board games (heavy euros, hybrids, P&Ps), RPGs (narrative focus, forever GM), Minis games (lots of painting & modelling too).
Underground metal, especially melodic prog & funeral doom. Lots of other music. I stopped counting after 1000 live bands. Technically a vocalist, but still recovering from Covid. Dancing down the rock club with friends
I (deliberately) live in Manchester, in my own house that I’m renovating (mostly myself). I have all sorts of practical DIY skills.
I own a basic car and have a good job in sales management.
I cook, clean, and keep my house nice. Not looking for someone to mother me. My friend Lisa described my food as “well s*xy”. My friend Lettie complained that my house being so well kept made her feel bad about her own mess.
I try to keep fit. Not as fit & healthy as I’d like, as I’m still recovering from Covid & long-Covid. I’m currently just about able to run 5k three times a week. With time, I should get back to full fitness, but it’s a long road.
I read & study quite a bit. I love hard sci-fi and political philosophy especially.
A lot of people think I’m funny, a lot don’t. Dad jokes, dry humour, linguistic buffoonery, Gen-X musical references, absurdity. Sorry, not sorry.
