I live in Austin, TX. I moved here in 1982 right after graduating from High School. I came to Austin because it had a kick ass punk and music scene. I played in various hard core bands like Blitz Hakker, F.D.R., Snot Art. My first gig ever was with Snot Art opening for Minor Threat. Bet that is cooler than your first gig.
I loved bands like F.U.s, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys, Motorhead, Pistols, Ramones, Dayglow Abortions, L.A.'s Wasted Youth, Christian Death. I started listening to metal after Kill 'Em All came out and got into Mercyful Fate, Anthrax, Venom, Exciter, Accept, Maiden, etc. In '85 I started a metal band called Agony Column. We put out three records and went on tour with bands like Biohazard, Gwar, L7, Rollins Band. I still play occasional shows with Agony Column, but I've been playing in IGNITOR since 2003 we have put out a bunch of records. I also play in a Judas Priest tribute called Sad Wings and a Motorhead tribute called MotorDead. I got 3 dogs and 5 cats. I'm looking for new friends to chat with or check out shows together.
