I am new here and searching for the love of my life that might share some of my interests.
First of all I would like to find a kind and romantic gentleman who understands dark humour and perhaps has a gothic/mysterious appearance. Who values tradition but is modern at the same time.

I am very interested in morbid/gothic history and tales. Everything from the history of morbid surgery methods to mythological creatures like vampires and strigois. I want to be a restorer and conserver of cultural heritage especially in fields like textiles (historical clothes e.g., mourning gowns), metal (e.g., armour) and biological material (e.g., human remains). I also absolutely love butterfly taxidermy.
I am a romantic soul from the Victorian 19th century that writes poems, paints, sculpts, reads (gothic) literature (e.g., Anne Rice, Oscar Wilde, Leo Tolstoy) and of course listens to gothic love metal (e.g., HIM) or also classical music (e.g., Richard Wagner, Bach or Händel). I also enjoy watching documentaries about history, mythology or folktales and gothic films (e.g., Interview with the Vampire 1994, Bram Stoker’s Dracula 1992, Nosferatu 2024). I passionately enjoy walking through old graveyards, just sitting on a bench and searching for a beautiful tombstone that I would like to have myself.
I can see my future in countries that value their history e.g., Hungary, Norway or Finnland. I would also dream to visit a small and superstitious village in Romania for a week and talk with the natives about their believes and folktales.
Even though I am obsessed with everything gothic and morbid I am fairly a positive person who laughs a lot and is sarcastic and very open towards people that I love.
