I am new here and searching for the love of my life that might share some of my interests.
First of all I would like to find a kind and romantic gentleman who understands dark humour. Who values tradition but is modern at the same time.
About me:
I speak three languages (Russian, German, English an a bit Italian).
I am very interested in morbid/gothic history and tales. Everything from the history of morbid surgery methods to mythological creatures. However, I especially like the history of England and France (Regency and Victorian era). I want to become a restorer and conserver of cultural heritage especially in fields like textiles (historical clothes e.g., mourning gowns), metal (e.g., armour). I also absolutely love butterfly taxidermy and am very keen on gardens, especially botanical gardens.
I am a romantic soul that writes poems, paints, sculpts, reads (English/French/Russian) literature (e.g., Anne Rice, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, The Brontë Sisters, Leo Tolstoy) and listens to classical music (e.g., Wagner, Bach, Händel, Mozart, Schubert). I also enjoy watching documentaries about history, mythology or folktales and watch films that only have to do with either history or literature (e.g., Jane Eyre (2015), Napoleon (1927), Ludwig II (1973)).
I can see my future in countries that value their history e.g., Austria, France or England. My dream is to have a cottage or small Manor House in the English countryside or a small Château in Northern France. I would also dream to visit a small and superstitious village in Romania for a week and talk with the natives about their believes and folktales.
Even though I am obsessed with everything gothic and morbid I am fairly a positive person who laughs a lot and is sarcastic and very open towards people that I love.
