Hi, I’m Andrew 41, based in Victoria, BC. Life’s taught me that honesty, kindness, and loyalty mean more than perfection ever could. I’m real about my flaws, open about growth, and value genuine connection above all.
While goth, cyber goth, industrial, and dark wave scenes have shaped me and provided a vital sense of belonging, they’re only part of who I am — not the whole story. Music and style connect me to a creative, passionate community, but I’m also curious about the world beyond the shadows. I enjoy steampunk aesthetics, folklore, history, and the quiet power found in the mystical and arcane.
I enjoy various artists and bands from Dead Can Dance, Bauhaus, VNV Nation God Module, The Damned, Decoded Feedback, and Agalloch, to coldwave and darkwave acts like Lebanon Hanover, Pink Turns Blue, and other and Ayria. Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly, Alien vampires. Grendel and more.
Outside of music and culture, I love gaming — board games, tabletop RPGs, and anything that sparks strategy and creativity. I’m a fan of wine tasting, savoring moments of flavor and company.
I’m also drawn to the occasional night out at ***** events like Sin City, or goth nights like Descent in Vancouver, embracing the boldness and freedom those spaces offer.
Politically, I lean left/liberal, I have zero interest in Canada becoming the 51st state Canadian sovereignty and identity are important to me.
As an ENTJ, I’m driven, strategic, and enjoy leading projects and conversations with purpose. I’m motivated by growth and challenge, and I value clarity and honesty in all my relationships.
I work nights in the bar scene, but outside of that, I’m all about music, deep conversations, creative projects, and exploring all the layers of life light and dark alike.
