I love Gothic literature because there’s something deeply captivating about its mix of beauty and darkness. The crumbling mansions, ghostly whispers, and tormented characters pull me into a world that feels eerie yet emotional. It’s not just about being scared ,it’s about feeling something deeper, like sadness, mystery, or even awe. The stories often explore the parts of ourselves we try to hide, and that makes them feel real in a haunting kind of way. There’s a strange comfort in the gloom, like getting lost in a storm and not wanting to find your way out. That’s why I love it.
