Hello World. I just discovered this site after attending my first industrial music festival and coming to the realization that... I'm weird. And I shouldn't be looking for normal anymore. Normal isn't interesting and normal doesn't appreciate a lot of the things that oddball-does. And I like to find appreciation in things.
Anyways, my natural mode is 'hermit' - and it's what I resort to by default on weekends and time off from work. But somehow I've wound up in a sales profession and my 'people mode' is as polished as they come. Definitely a weird juggling act, but I'm used to it. On that note - I am an introvert because it was what my biochemistry put me into growing up. But one day about 8 years ago I started to realize that it wasn't normal to feel like I'm on pins and needles all day and experience wild swings in my level of happiness and comfort level. Fast forward to today and I'm lucky enough to have found the right selection of 'thinking vitamins' to be even-keeled, mostly happy and... productive. Yeah, it's really nice.
I love EBM, Industrial and Futurepop music - which collectively have made up the majority of my music listening for over a decade... which is saying a lot because I listen to a ton of music! Outside of electronic, my younger-self walked the path to the soundtrack of bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool and Soundgarden. I am definitely looking for something serious - I've never developed the thick skin needed to handle the emotions of constantly changing waves in this sea.
Technical Specifications: Very tall (6'4.xx"); No kids (at all!); I own my own home; I don't smoke (aside from a hipster pipe smoke here and there); I very much 'have my s**t together' and I am definitely a cat guy - though I don't currently own one. I drink happily and to a healthy level - I love beers the color of coffee beans and I am headed down the whiskey rabbit hole over the past few years.
