I would like to meet new people for friendship. If something develops between someone and I, then I am open to a long-term relationship. But I guess I really don't know what to expect to find here, because I am a currently a student and a starving artist type, and I do see a therapist to manage stress, so I really don’t expect women to line up for a relationship with me. Lol. It’s cool, though – I do OK alone, and I am pretty happy with my life. Besides, I am in college, so I figure after I finish college, the income will be there, and in a field I want to be in, so I will be patient.
When I am with a friend, I am a good talker and a good listener. I can be very deep and serious – a good friend. But I like to joke around, too. I have a very raw sense of humor. Even naughty at times, but I am just being playful. I just like to make people laugh, while keeping within their comfy zone. I never ask for a n*de pic, or offer to send one of me, because I know how to be decent and respectful. I'm friendly, compassionate, and have spent a good part of my life helping other people, including friends. But at the same time, even though I am a very forgiving person, if someone is repeatedly a jerk with me, I can disappear very quickly. I don’t have time for problems and rude people.
When I am in a relationship, then I am a loving, gentle, caring man who always wants to make the woman I am with happy, and comfort her when she needs comforting. So I will wait for her, and when she comes along, the wait will be worth it.
So here are a few other notes about me to help you know me a little better:
* I grew up in the Central California, but I moved to Southern California in 1993 to pursue career goals. I stayed there until I relocated back to Central California in 2010.
* I studied music, art, and theater, and spend time with these interests even today.
* For 15 years I worked in the Computer Information Technology field and I taught Computer Information Systems at a junior college. But the computer business was too demanding, and I needed to get out of it, which I did.
* I had a brief time working in Hollywood, and as an Audio/Visual Technician work for live events, and on independent films.
* I did 5 years of volunteer work with children.
* Right now I am going to college to get my English degree, and I am trying to complete a story/script idea for an animated TV series. The humor is very crude, naughty, and offensive, and I love writing it. lol. Think of it as "Family Guy", on steroids.
* I enjoy thinking outside the box, keeping my imagination active, and my intellect growing. I am into technology, especially computers and the Internet, which is a blessing to me, because it offers a wonderful marriage of art and technology.
* I DON’T like people who use and abuse society, judge others unfairly, and cheat and hurt society in horrendous ways. Especially people in power.
* I indulge in writing and occasionally recording my own music (my other passion). When I get on a good writing roll, I can retreat to my room to stay on my roll, and emerge days later, unshaven, half-starved, and in desperate need of a shower. lol. I can become obsessive at times. This is usually when it is at its best. The magic, I mean.
* I enjoy watching movies and listening to music. When it comes to music, I like all kinds of music - The Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, Genesis, Phil Collins, Soundgarden, Joan Jett, Star Wars Soundtracks, techno/electronica. I'm very eclectic.
* Movies - I love action movies, romantic comedies, drama, comedy, "based on true stories", old classic silent films. Not much into the horror movies, but I can tolerate them. I get scared. lol
* I was a Ghosthunter for a couple of years.
* I ran an edgy social group in Southern California for a while.
* I am not into sports, so I can't really talk sports stats or whatever it is sports fans discuss. I do love cats, though

* I love pretty much anything Goth, by the way. The dark beauty of Goth that has always allured me.
* I travel to Southern California monthly to visit my kids, most of whom are grown.
