I live in the Wairarapa, but I’m moving to Wellington city in a few years. And I get up to Auckland quite a bit.
I’m a little punk, a little emo and alot nerd.
Poet and metal head (rock and roll since the 80’s, metal since the ‘90s.)

I’m a typical pisces (sensitive, passionate, romantic, ambitious, creative, open-minded, silly, but focused) and an INTP. Fully vaccinated.

I’m an emerging novelist and cultural non-fiction author. With a background in poetry and theatre. A mecha writer, game designer, animation writer, digital art - writer/art director/producer and filmmaker.

As a job I freelance as a web dev, game writer-for-hire, story coach and amusement designer.

I have 6.5yrs of successful college study - that’s two diplomas and a degree in screenwriting.

I have a powerful and varied sense of humour and sense of silliness, rarely serious except when it matters, sometimes quiet but more often chatty. I know way too much about filmmaking, films, game design. And I’ll talk your ear off given half the chance. I like dogs, but cats are quieter so when I get my own place again I’d probably choose a cat, or a reptile, fish and hamsters. I love dogs though.

I used to volunteer at an art gallery, now I volunteer on small indie video game teams as writing support and level design. I'm thinking about a day job in video game level design, after I finish my website in february. I'm a big supporter of innovative tech (cas holman, makey makey, elyasaf shweka, vex robotics and paul boswell) and platforms like Patreon and Kickstarter and social enterprise.

current main projects: writing an pen-and-paper rpg rulebook to self-publish, and a novella, 2 novels, video game prototypes for selling with source code via patreon, 2 comics, a video blog, an epic 6hr animated film, an animated series to also adapt as a video game, fmv games and visual (interactive) novels for steam, massive episodic indie video game 5yr projects for the appstores, a digital theatre project, an epic comic book, a free mecha web comic series, free mecha web app sims and animatics for digital environments, free card games vis the website and github, and a non-fiction book about nerd culture business, a play, films and working as a volunteer level designer and writing/design support for indie video game teams - I also do web dev and video production. Stuck for what to talk about? Ask me about my fave films/filmmakers, cartoons, video games, actors, art, food, travel…
