I am an introvert and can be pretty shy at first. Not good at starting small talk, but there are many interesting things worth discussing-exploring. Am seemingly incapable of reading signals, and flirting is inscrutable to me. Just smack me upside the head or something.
I am something of a loner and a homebody and I am uncomfortable at large gatherings with people I don't know.
Anxiety and depression are a thing with me, though I'm medicated and it's under control.
I love learning new things and have all sorts of useless info about many topics swimming around in my head.
Am very much into all types of rock music (punk, alternative, hard, classic, progressive, psychedelic, etc). A bit of old blues and jazz, but no (modern) country.
A fan of classic movies of all types, from silents on up. Will watch any and all horror and thriller movies (or at least I'll give it a shot). Also am fascinated by documentaries about almost anything.
Also enjoy the outdoors (fishing, canoeing, camping, etc.) and love pretty much all animals.
Museums, art galleries and historical buildings-districts are always a good visit. A day trip to somewhere I've never been? Sign me up as long as the company is good.
I am liberal - progressive. Not necessarily always PC.
I work thu-sat nights (12 hour shifts). sometimes sundays and occasional other overtime days. I chose and prefer this schedule for various reasons professional and personal. Would be willing to consider a more "normal" schedule for the right person-situation if things got serious down the road.
Oh, and no interest whatsoever in any sportsball teams.
