I am in disguise. Stoner rock, sludge, doom, some black metal on the side. I've been revisiting the punk/hardcore of my youth.
I've always lived the life, never looked the part. I've been a true non-conformist: I refused to conform to my subculture's expectations!
Retired skateboarder (not like a pro, just had to stop going to the hospital).
I gave up drugs/booze, but I don't judge. I was never straight edge, I liked fun too much.
I'm looking for substance. I allowed my life to veer into square territory...thankfully I escaped. I
still have a square job, but I am sneaky and I am using my position to get teenagers to question authority. And I am there for those misfit kids, the goths, the castoffs, the outcasts, the skaters, the punks, the trans kids...I am there to tell them "there is a life after high school...your people are out there."
