Hi all, I'm Steven, 42, from Devon and now in Reading. Never married and no kids. I'm not into astrology but for those who are, I'm a Capricorn.
I'm passionately into 70's and 80's hard rock, favourite bands being AC/DC, The Runaways, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Rose Tattoo and Krokus. 90's dance and rave has also been creeping into my playlist recently. I play bass guitar in an originals band and a covers band and most weekends I'm either seeing a band or playing in one.
I take keeping fit pretty seriously, going to the gym most days and the odd yoga sesh. I have no physical or mental health conditions, although my back sometimes hates me after too much headbanging on metal nights!
I've recently started refresher driving lessons after not driving since I passed my test 24 years ago, which is bit surreal, but going well. I have my own house and job (analyst programmer) and hopefully soon, first car.
During the covid era I had quite an awakening to what's really going on in the world. Thankfully I never let myself get coerced into taking the jab, nor those fraudulent tests, nor will I wear a mask. I believe most of the worlds problems could be sorted by the general population growing a backbone and not complying with tyranny. Politically I don't identify as left or right - they're both cheeks of the same arse!
I'd say my positive traits are being respectful, honest, easy going, logical, organised and diligent in what I do. Things I need to work on are expressing myself better, being more creative and cooking (I mainly live off Huel!).
To start with I'd like to meet people who share a similar worldview to myself and enjoy the same activities, eg. PC gaming and going to gigs and having a drink together, then take it from there. If you love AC/DC as much as me, marry me now LOL. I would certainly be open to a long term relationship but extra criteria such as being financially stable and having ones affairs in order would be essential.
