Hey, I'm a self taught IT person, more specifically software developer, sysadmin and game developer that recently (few last weeks) got into neural networks.
I'm kind of an ex metal head, I don't listen to much metal anymore, but I did for a decade listen to bands like Burzum, Ulver, and many more. I still listen to Apocalypse Orchestra and Bloodywood sometimes to this day.
But my main genre of music has always been IDM and to a lesser degree world and folk music.
Nowadays I listen to a bit of everything.
Into philosophy, psychology, politics, and many more topics, these are just the topics I actually know some stuff about. Also really into topics like artificial intelligence and sentience, pretty much anything philosophical and controversial.
I'm center-left politically.
