A rock n roll writer with an axe to grind… ; )
Looking for some semblance of connection on this dizzying blue marble. I have a lot of passion, and I tend to be high intensity. I love high-brow art and low-brow kitsch, with not a lot in between. Early rock n roll, garage, punk, and rhythm and blues records are some of my favorite genres of music. I write and record my own 60’s style radio show, so I can talk records all day.
I like art house films, old noir, and B movies. But The Jerk is my favorite movie of all time. Love LD and Curb and comedy along those lines.
Things I don’t give a f**k about include, but aren’t limited to Tik Tok dances, the American version of The Office, any other iteration of The Joker beyond Jack Nicholson’s portrayal (The 1989 Tim Burton Batman is the best, and definitive Batman movie ever made. Fight me on it!), professional sports teams, and anything with cucumber in it.
