I'm 56 got 2 children, 25 & 16 and 2 grandkids, they're all on the Spectrum so life with them is very different (wouldn't have it any other way though). Although I’m still technically married, my partner came out as a Trans woman a couple of years ago so this makes our relationship platonic and a somewhat difficult, which is an understatement.
I've been into alternative, goth, emo/metal since I was 16 (mid 1980’s) and in the last couple of years I found pop punk and seen quite a few bands in that genre. I have an alternative look with very colourful short spikey Mohican style hair which goes quite well with my taste in music, my arty/crafty hobbies and my personality. I’m vegan not completely by choice but because of an autoimmune disease (I was a vegetarian anyway). I have allergy sensitivities to sooo many foods including gluten, and, sadly, soya, thankfully, the only thing I’m not allergic to is nuts (keep those unclean thoughts to yourself please! Though you’ve probably already fallen off your chair laughing already).
My main music interests are Yungblud, Black Veil Brides, MCR & Falling in Reverse to name a few (if I was to go through them all I'd have a very long list). I still listen to the old 80's goth/punk classics from time to time, like the Cure, The Mission, Sisters, Nephilim and some 90's bands like Green Day, Blink-182 and Sum 41. I’m an artist and like to draw and paint, I go to a lot of gigs (which I quite happily to go on my own) and I'm a Wiccan (which either scares or fascinates people no it’s not the worst case scenario that you’re thinking). I work in Project Management in a large govt dept, my job takes up a large part of my week and probably a lot more time than I care to admit. I’m looking to extend my friendship group only and nothing else.
