Due to professional/career reasons that require the use of privacy, I will send my picture if I feel we have a great connection or that all-too-elusive 'spark.' Traveling is not at all an issue so do not be shy if you are some distance away.
The gist of it is this: I am a Caucasian with a European background you may inquire about that is 6'0 tall with voluminously long, dark and straight hair I am quite proud of. I possess a pretty-but-masculine face with what you would expect such as high cheekbones and angular jawline, a well-kept and well-groomed body and I am a proud slave to nightly hygienic rituals. My eyes are dark and piercing with long lashes that possibly will unsettle you or think my glance predatory but I assure you is not my intent. I am passionate and regarded by both professional institutes and peers as highly intellectual (which I have learned years ago is more of a curse than a benefit).
As you could likely surmise from the first line I do not carry much presence on any social media. Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and the twenty-seven other platforms that have spontaneously spawned as I was typing this are not things I concern myself with.
My interests are vast and varied and almost impossible to wholly list. Some of what I enjoy include athletic pursuits such as sports or swimming and hiking, writing, poetry, art galleries, museums, theaters and operas, traveling Europe, attempting to and deluding myself into thinking I can cook, orchestras, classical music, ballroom and other formal dances, Gothic architecture, sites of historical significance, Romanticism in all its glory, Impressionist art, collecting knives, collecting Venetian masks, puzzles, and a general fascination with the darkly beautiful, morbid and macabre such as the Sedlec Ossuary in Prague.
While I do live in the city I harbor envy for those that have more ready access to forestry and sylvan surroundings and consider myself adaptable in both urban and rural environments. I live alone but hold a great relationship with my family.
I have two cats. They are just cats. Not my "furbabies" nor do I call myself their "cat father." They amuse me so I keep them around. On the contrary, I feed and brush them so they keep me around! I enjoy all animals no matter how typical or exotic. Why, I would love to one day own tarantulas as I find them strangely adorable but I also know I would likely be quite unpopular in many social circles, hah.
Currently I am seeking a woman for friendship with the open possibility of it advancing to something even greater. A few months back I amicably ended a five year relationship with a lovely girl that saw us with different directions in life and agree to walk our separate paths. I have no hang-ups or regrets nor any lingering feelings or children stemming off this. I merely am looking for part confidant, part muse. I adore conversation that sees ten minutes become two hours without even knowing it.
If interested, my only ask is this: please be at least 20 years of age (ideally I would say 24+ but I have met with younger ladies that have left me very impressed with their mature-minds however due to personal ethics I cannot go below 20) and do not already be involved in a relationship or marriage with another. I refuse to be involved with a spoken-for woman and desire pure monogamy. I know my value as a man and I refuse to settle as being handsome distraction or perpetual second place in romantic endeavors.
