Hello, I`m an Exmouth-dwelling, Nature and Animal Loving Ambivert, who`s very much into Wild Camping (Back-packing) and Hiking, though alas, I always seem to do a lot more camping planning, than actual camping doing.
I`m a bit of an Ultra-light Camping Gear Geek. Numerous other interests as well, such as singing and strumming Electro-Acoustic Guitar. I took a break from live music for about 4 years, so as to focus on other stuff, but I`m now actually in a Covers band. We`ve been at it for a few months, but we`re still only in the rehearsal stages (You can`t rush a good thing), we only have about 12 songs ready so far, cos we`ve dropped a few others that we`d previously rehearsed cos we decided they were too niche for the average pub crowd.
I was hoping we`d do The Cult`s - She Sells Sanctuary, but unfortunately, it`s too high for my register, and our fussy lead guitarist flatly refuses to transpose anything down from it`s original key, which is a bit of a pain, but we`re committed to the cause, and we should be out and about with a 3rd of a set (45 minutes worth) quite soon. I`m quite environmentally friendly, with a pretty low carbon foot-print. My water bill is included in my rent, but I save my bath/shower water to flush the loo. - Many may raise an eyebrow at this, but everyone should conserve water, so that their children (I don`t have any kids of my own), and their children`s children have something to drink in the future, cos clean drinking water is dwindling, and aside from rising temps, there are thousands more people being born every day, and if we carry on wasting it on the scale that we presently do, we`re all going to be in deep s**t at some point in the not too distant future..
Few things annoy me more than the insane waste and that gets left behind after festivals. Festy folk are supposed to love the planet, but many are complete hypocrites, cos thousands of tents and sleeping bags (And lots of other plastic) just get left strewn around after any big event, and most of it can`t be recycled or given to the homeless, it`s sickening, and an insane way to carry on on a finite planet. I do buy new things quite often, but I don`t throw anything away, I give some stuff to charity, or I re-purpose them, but mostly, I sell on my redundant old kit at fair prices, so that others get the benefit of it, but Altscene won`t let me mention the names of the sites I sell on, where I`m very proud of my 100% positive seller feedback. 😊
I`m interested in UFO`s, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP`s) as N.A.S.A (Never A Straight Answer) and the CIA like to call them, and I`ve witnessed a few over the years, one very close indeed (I wasn`t abducted 👽) I guess some would say that I have a tin foil hat firmly stuck on my head. 🤖
I`m too eccentric for the Pofs, too straight-looking for the Goths, "Well what you doin` here then?" I imagine some might scoff. ☠️🏴☠️ Well, being as I`m single, I originally came in here thinking it was an alternative dating site, but no-one from Devon has ever logged back in to see my messages, and those that have... have never replied. 😂 So now I just pop in for the occasional cheeky peek every so often, well, not that often TBH.
