I am only interested in dating someone in the PNW that I can see on a regular basis. I'm not interested in LDRs.
I am 36 years old, no kids, never married. Most of my adult life has been centered around education and establishing myself as a research scientist. I have a PhD in biology with a focus in wildlife pathology. I have seen much of the world, and intend to see much more, but I am keen on keeping the PNW as home base. I currently live in Corvallis but plan to move to Portland or maybe Seattle within the next year. I don't have much free time during the week, but when I do, I like to spend it running, doing yoga, or messing around with drawing and photography. I spend my weekends hiking in nature or dancing at goth bars. I hope to find a partner who likes to do both these things. Dogs are OK, but they can't compare to the delight of the semi-feral state in which cats exist. My current lifestyle isn't suited for young kids, but dating someone with older kids could work.
