Hi, I'm Mat. A left wing, alternative, klnkster, Greaser Horror Punk. I'm looking for a monogamous long term relationship, not here for hook-ups. I love loud guitars. Formerly a vocalist in several obscure punk and hardcore bands you've probably never heard of.
In my 9 til 5 I lead a team in a busy and successful city centre retail outlet selling vintage and alternative clothing. Seeing the shop thrive, the staff kept productive and happy and the customers satisfied are daily goals.
Outside of the day-job I like to spend quality time with my friends and family and I'm currently illustrating a roleplaying game for a new games company that is expected to be published this year. I also do graphic design for bands and promoters.
I like to go hiking and explore off the beaten path. The quiet places in the great outdoors are where I find my inspiration. If I can squeeze in some wild swimming that's a bonus.
I'm a father with a 13 year old son. He lives in Norway. So I don't have him 50% of the time for obvious reasons related to distance and travel time. We video call and video game together several times per week. We meet up as often as we can. Despite the distance we're very close, love each other to bits and when we're together we're inseperable.
I'm also currently saving for a new motorcycle and looking forward to the day trips and travel opportunities that will open up for me.
On an average Saturday night you can find me often meeting friends to go and watch live bands.
Or if it's a quiet night in I can be found reading HP Lovecraft while listening to a cosmic horror soundtrack.
Or sipping a glass of wine while watching a youtube tutorial about Shibari.
Or taking a stroll round the local graveyard to watch the bats.
Or perfecting my vegan Mac n Cheeze recipe.
Or planning my next Halloween outfit.
